provided that he claims and avails himself of such return pass** -age within one month.

12. All plans drawings papers and documents prepared by the person engaged during the engagement shall be the property of the Government and he delivered to them when and as they may direct.

In the event of the person engaged becoming entitled on the expiration of this agreement to any payment in England on account of salary passage allowance or other expenses it will be necessary for him to produce to the Crown Agents a certificate from the Government of the amount so due before payment can be effected.

14. If any question arises between the parties hereto with regard to this agreement or the construction thereof or the rights or obligations of any person thereunder or with ragard to any matter arising connected with the subject matter thereof the same shall be referred to the Consulting Engineers whose decision shall be final and conclusive,

The Crown Agents for the Colonies shall not be in any way personally liable for any-thing arising out of this

agreement.
